Johan Holm is a Doctor of Law, Associate Professor and assistant head of the law department at the University of Umeå, specialising in labour law and health and safety regulation.
His current research concerns how labour law and work environmental regulation should be understood and applied to new work life practices such as remote work and algorithmic work management.
He is part of the interdisciplinary research program Algorithmic management at work - challenges, opportunities, and strategies for occupational safety and health and wellbeing (ALGOSH).
He is a frequently engaged lecturer, both within and outside the academy.
